SILICAL 110 - Silicone Rubber (1 kg pack)

SILICAL 110 is a moldable silicone rubber designed for creating vertical molds of objects and artworks. Thanks to its long working time and mechanical strength, it ensures excellent reproduction fidelity. Room-temperature vulcanizing, it features low shrinkage and good release properties, making it easy to finish.

Appearance: Non-sagging, neutral paste
Stability: Good stability at room temperature
Density: 1.37 kg/L (according to ASTM D 792)
Compatibility: Suitable for non-porous materials and can be used with SILICAL 100 release agent for particularly porous materials

APPLICATION METHOD
To apply SILICAL 110, mix the rubber with the catalyst SILICAL 115 or SILICAL 116 in the indicated proportions (3–4% for SILICAL 115, 2% for SILICAL 116). The mixture must be homogeneous, and it is recommended to prepare small quantities at a time. The rubber can be applied directly onto the object to be reproduced. Yield and working properties depend on the catalyst ratio used, but typically using about 100 parts of rubber and 3–4 parts of catalyst ensures optimal results.
